Angelina Jolie And The Weeknd Were Photographed Getting Dinner Together In Los Angeles

elle– Here’s a pair you wouldn’t expect to see together: Page Six reports that Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd were photographed getting dinner together in Los Angeles. Paparazzi caught them leaving Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi separately last night. They dined together there for hours, per the outlet. Jolie wore a tan trench and black silk dress, while The Weeknd was in a denim jacket, dark top, and jeans for the occasion.

While it isn’t impossible that it could’ve been a date (both Jolie and The Weeknd are currently single), it was more likely a business meeting, based on what a source told Page Six. “They’re clearly not trying to hide [the dinner date],” a source close to The Weeknd told the outlet. “He’s definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he’s starring in.”

The Weeknd’s will star in his new project, HBO Max series The Idol. The Weeknd is also co-writing the series, which “follows a female pop singer who starts a romance with an enigmatic L.A. club owner who is the leader of a secret cult,” Variety wrote of the premise. The Weeknd will also be an executive producer on the series with Reza Fahim and Euphoria‘s Sam Levinson.

The Weeknd previously wrote an episode of American Dad and voiced a character based off himself. He also played himself in 2019 hit film Uncut Gems.
