The final push: campaign to save Derek Jarman’s cottage in Dungeness is almost over the line

The public appeal launched by the UK's Art Fund to save Derek Jarmans home and garden in Dungeness, Kent, is tantalisingly close to reaching its target of £3.5m just days before the 31 March deadline (91% of the total has so far been raised). The campaign to save Prospect Cottage—which is at risk of being sold privately, having its contents dispersed, and its artistic legacy lost—was launched late January.
