Mikaela Shiffrin solidified herself as a star at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang just a few weeks ago, but she’s still get plenty of time to add to her legacy.
Heading into the Winter Games, Shiffrin was expected to bring a handful of medals home to the United States, but left with just two. The skiing sensation turned 23 years old on Tuesday, which makes her 10 years younger than fellow American skier Lindsey Vonn, who is currently considered the greatest female skier ever. However, Shiffrin is well on her way to overthrowing Vonn’s title and will likely only need one more Olympic Games to do it.
