Joseph Tate is up to his scheming worst again in Emmerdale as he continues to make plans in the village – and determined that he won’t take the fall for it, he is keen to manipulate Jimmy King as much as possible, much to Graham Foster’s disapproval.
And before long, after a clash unfolds, Robert Sugden will be pulled into the feud and Jimmy is forced to do some digging to find some dirt on his former colleague at the scrapyard.
The drama unfolds as Jimmy remains unsure about accepting a promotion from Joe as he will have to be involved in some underhand things but Nicola is determined that they deserve the finer things in life. As she plans an expensive holiday, an under pressure Jimmy reluctantly signs his life away to Joe.
Graham is annoyed with Joe for setting Jimmy up to be his fall guy but Joe isn’t finished there and soon finds his first use out of his new employee. When smoke from the scrapyard causes Joe to lose a client, a fuming Joe wastes no time in confronting Robert.
As the two square up to one another, Joe determines to hit back at him. Manipulating Jimmy in the process, Joe plots to find dirt to use against Robert and is smug at the thought of getting his own back.
As a war threatens to escalate, will Joe underestimate Robert – or has Robert met his match this time?
