The Crystal Castles lead singer issued a statement in October of last year where she accused Kath of physically, psychologically and mentally abusing her.
In the statement, Glass told how Kath had allegedly been ‘very manipulative towards her’, but Kath allegedly sued Glass for defamation, as he said the band had lost $300,000 in profits.
But, speaking to The Daily Beast, Glass told of how she thinks a court summons she was served from ‘someone pretending to be a fan’ was designed to intimidate her.
Glass told the magazine that Kath wanted ‘to intimidate all of these women that probably don’t have access to a lawyer and so they’d be too scared to speak out if they think they’ll be sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars.’
She added: ‘I refuse to be intimidated by him. Things didn’t work out the way he thought they would, which would be me just cowering and crying in a little ball. He doesn’t know me anymore and I’m not a little girl anymore.’
The raucous singer also told of how she feels confident her suit will be thrown out of court: ‘Everything I said was true. You shouldn’t be able to waste everyone’s time and money to have a lawsuit that I’m going to win.’
Ethan Kath denies all allegations made against him.

At the time of his own lawsuit, lawyer Shane Bernard said: ‘My client categorically denies all the malicious lies about sexual abuse. At no time did my client ever force Alice Glass into having sex with him against her will, much less by use of violence or drugs to take advantage of her.’
