Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt has been accused of shoving a woman during a recent argument.
Hunt allegedly pushed and shoved a woman outside of his Cleveland hotel room after she refused to engage in sexual activity with one of the men in his group this past Friday, according to TMZ Sports.
However, Hunt’s friend has denied the allegations, and said the woman started slinging racial slurs after being asked to leave their hotel room because they were only 19 years old. Police took multiple reports, but nobody has been placed in cuffs yet, according to the same TMZ Sports report.
We’re a little over a week into the offseason, and the NFL already has plenty of problems on its hands. San Francisco 49ers linebacker was arrested over the weekend for allegedly beating a woman, and now Hunt is accused of getting violent with a woman.
The NFL just can’t seem to shake the lurking feeling that the players in the league have a problem with violence against women. Obviously, we have no idea for sure what happened with Hunt in Cleveland, but it’s a PR nightmare for the NFL less than 14 days into the offseason. Expect Goodell to come down hard and fast if of the allegations turn out to be true.
