Pat Phelan has every reason to worry in Coronation Street as it seems that the dead bodies of Andy Carver and Vinny Ashford could be about to haunt him in a big way. We all know that Phelan’s exit is imminent and Connor McIntyre has recently been filming intense scenes in Whitehaven that could see the villain die.
And now the catalyst for his downfall has been strongly hinted at as Mona, the project manager for the Mill development, has asked him to drain the lake to create more space for extra flats. Gary Windass watched with interest as Phelan’s expression fell – will the bodies be discovered?
Phelan now faces a huge decision – does he stick with the project and find a way to dispose of the corpses or does he abandon it but risk the possibility of the person who follows emptying the lake anyway?
We know that there are big twists ahead and Phelan’s imminent departure will heavily feature his wife Eileen and his daughter Nicola Rubinstein, who is plotting in secret with Gary to expose his true colours.
Will Phelan find a way out of this one or is the game finally up?
