Steph receives harsh consequences after she has an angry reaction to learning Jack cheated on her with Paige.

After realising she’s totally in love with Jack, Steph is heartbroken to learn of his infidelity with Paige.

And what’s worse, they swear her to secrecy about it as Paige claims it would crush Mark to find out so close to Tyler’s trial. Probably should have thought of that, hey Paige.

But then Mark tells Steph he’s planning on proposing, meaning Steph has to swallow the urge to come clean.

Jack then later rescues Paige after she runs off into the bush and hurts her ankle, further upsetting Steph that he’s being inconsiderate of her feelings.

She shuns Jack’s attempts at an apology, telling Toadie she’s been humiliated. Against Toadie’s advice, she heads to the backpackers to snoop through Jack’s room and there she finds a framed photo of him with Paige and Gabe.

Seeing red, she smashes the place up. When Leo finds it like that, he assumes it’s been vandalised and enlists Mishti to find the culprit. After discovering it was Steph, he wants to withdraw his complaint, but it’s too late because Steph has already confessed, which means she must be charged.

And this is terrible news – her visa to Fiji is now going to be revoked. Not only has she lost her boyfriend, but she can’t visit son Charlie either.
