There’s a whole lot of aggro over on Neighbours on the week starting 15 January.
Tyler’s case is set to receive a huge blow as he learns he could be going away for a lot longer and a far bigger crime than anticipated.
Ben and Xanthe get super serious, and take their relationship to the next level.
And just when Paul Robinson looks like he’s being a nice guy, he finds a way to ruin everyone’s fun.
Here are eight spoilers from 15 January.
1. Tyler’s charges are upgraded to murder.
It’s bad news for Tyler, who learns that things have gone from bad to worse. After initially thinking he could go down for 20 years for manslaughter, he then learns it would be more like two.
But that’s bad enough, and as he tries to come to terms with it with the help of girlfriend Piper, there is far worse news to come. He’s now being done for murder after Ben is re-interviewed by the police about Hamish’s death.
2. Ben and Xanthe have sex.
Ben and Xanthe’s relationship has gone from strength to strength recently, and the pair finally decide to take the next huge step. After confessing to him she wants to go back to school they spend time together filling out her enrollment forms. After that they kiss, but Xanthe doesn’t want to stop – she’s ready to go further.
But their first time is not good, and the couple are left feeling disappointed – just as Terese bursts in to find them in bed together!
3. Aaron confesses who Rory really is to David.
Aaron finally lets David in on his secret. He’s been hiding from his boyfriend the fact that Rory is his ex, but he hadn’t bargained on David googling Rory’s dance troupe, only to find an image of the two men with their arms wrapped around each other in an old picture.
He confronts Aaron with the picture, who finally confesses all. Well, all except their time together in Paris.
4. Gary ruins Shane’s business meeting after learning Xanthe lost her virginity.
Gary is incensed to learn that Xanthe and Ben have had sex. He gives them a location ban – Ben can no longer stay over at their house in the hope it will discourage them from having sex. But after Elly tells him it’ll only cause them to be sneaky, his mind goes into overdrive when he spots them going up in the hotel lift together.
He follows them and bursts in in the hope of catching them in the act – only to find he’s burst in on businessman Levi Jansen, who had been planning on meeting with Shane about his business ideas. Levi then flees Erinsborough in anger, ruining Shane’s chance of success.
5. Mishti arrests Shane.
Shane is angry at losing his opportunity, and after a few drinks goes to confront Gary. His behaviour escalates, and with Mishti in uniform, she’s forced to arrest him. This leaves the family livid, how will they cope with her betrayal?
6. Mark and Jack fight.
It was always going to end in a bout of fisticuffs for these two. Jack finally snaps over the whole Gabe being kidnapped situation, and blames Mark for his kidnap in the first place.
Mark then hits back that Jack endangered his own son when he secretly called the police against Mark’s advice. Jack then punches the ex copper and it descends into chaos, as Amy and Elly desperately try to intervene.
7. Toadie and Sonya have the power to blackmail Paul Robinson.
After helping to turn the boat into a business to help with Tyler’s legal costs, Paul is running some sort of dodgy operation from it. Toadie walks in on him having a strange business meeting and with his new found knowledge is able to blackmail the entrepreneur to get what he wants.
