Seb Franklin had better watch his back as crossing Pat Phelan may be the last thing that he does in Coronation Street. Ever since Phelan revealed that he was concealing a gun to the teenager, he has started to develop doubts and wonders if Faye Windass is right about the villain.
Phelan had got Seb drunk and allowed him to handle the gun, thus leaving all of his fingerprints on it and Seb could face an even worse fate as he makes a big enemy of Phelan.
When Phelan overhears him making plans to flee with his mum Abi, he is concerned and then finds out that Seb has been digging for information on him. Seb picks up on a threatening tone from Phelan and later warns Eileen that her husband is not who she thinks he is.
As Eileen reels from everything that a scared Seb tells her, Eileen then makes a discovery of her own which prompts her to arrange an urgent visit with Anna Windass.
In the prison, Anna tells Eileen everything that she knows and assures her that Phelan is evil to the core. It’s clear that Eileen is starting to doubt Phelan and when she arrives back, she cautiously opens the toolbox where Phelan has stashed his gun.
Meanwhile, Seb has done a disappearing act and Phelan closes in on Abi, offering her a wad of cash to tell him where he has got to.
With Abi having failed rehab, she could do a lot with the money – but will she really give her son up to Phelan? And if she does, will she be sending him to his death?
