BTS member Jimin got another death threat when an Instagram user posted that they are going to shoot him right in the head when the group hold their concert in Los Angeles on 5 September.
BTS are scheduled to hold their Love Yourself World Tour at Staples Center in LA on 5-6 and 8-9 September.
The Instagram account with the name Buljimic5 posted that the September 5s concert is going to be great especially after I shoot Jimin right in the head.
The account has since been deleted but apparently, the person has made different Instagram accounts and continued making the threat.
Big Hit Entertainment, BTS agency, responded to the new threat by saying, Regardless of the authenticity of the threats, we plan to do our utmost and take all necessary measures in responding to actions that may threaten the safety of the members, reported Soompi.
In the past as well, we made thorough preparations, and the matter was resolved without any actual incident. We plan to prepare while keeping a close eye on the situation, it said.
Fans have alerted the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) regarding the death threat against Jimin.
This is not the first time that Jimin got a death threat. Last May, a person posted on the social network Curious Cat threatening to kill Jimin when BTS hold their concert in Texas on 16 September.
Im going to shoot Park Jimin with a Glock 19 in Fort Worth on September 16 while he signs Serendipity. Its going to be fun seeing his lifeless body hit the floor [sic]. Hes been alive way too long and always getting in the way. Why Im telling you this? Because nothing can happen to me on cc, ask the armys getting racist ccs for being n****s, according to the threat.
The Fort Worth Police previously said they were investigating the matter.
